5 adventure-packed days
+ 1 day of pure relaxation
Rise and Shine at 07:30 in Metula, right at the northern edge of Israel. It’s here where your epic journey begins! Say hello to your adventure dream team – the technical guru, our trusty medic, and the visionary himself, Nimrod, proud owner of ‘The Epic Trail.’
Buckle up and choose your “rider of the storm” ATV, sign on the dotted line, and dive into a quick crash course on how to ride like a pro. Next, gear up for action and get acquainted with our in-vehicle communication system.
It’s map time! We’ll take a close look at the terrain and dive into what lies ahead for the day. Then, it’s time for a sneak peek into the upcoming leg of the journey, our overnight spot, and the adventures awaiting us.
The journey is accompanied by a first aid provider, field mechanic, tour guide, and a logistics team that arrives at our campsite every night, all of whom are experienced field professionals.
Ready for action at 09:30! We’ll kick off by cruising down a scenic route, taking in the beauty of Hula Valley, and discussing the historical significance of the Golan Heights. Our journey continues to the breathtaking Mount Bental, offering panoramic views of three borderlines.
We’ll cool off at a hidden pool overlooking Israel, Jordan, and Syria, and then venture through the mango and lychee orchards of Knaf. Brace yourself for the challenging Nahal El Al and Samech routes. We’ll wrap up with a delicious Moroccan feast near Beit Shean and cozy up around the campfire for a night under the stars.
Fuel up for another day of adventure! We’ll head south, passing stunning date and grape vineyards. Meet the locals who work this harsh but beautiful land. Our journey takes us across the border fence into Jordan as we explore Tel Hazor, a place only farmers usually tread.
We’ll refresh at Ein Prat, a desert oasis, and visit the Deir Marsaba monastery, perched on the side of the Marsaba mountain. We’ll then follow the “water hole road” to reach our campsite, perched 450 meters above sea level, with the Dead Sea beckoning 463 meters below.
Get ready for another epic day, starting with our morning briefing. Today, we leave civilization behind and dive deep into the heart of the desert.
At “Rosh Hatzatzon” we’ll take in the mesmerizing view of the Dead Sea, then venture south and west, crossing the challenging Judean Desert. Expect technical challenges and unforgettable landscapes.
We’ll meet a local Bedouin, learn the desert’s secrets, and savor authentic hospitality in a Bedouin tent. Our journey continues south on desert trails, with a detour to the legendary cave of Lot’s wife (please pass the salt). We’ll then make camp at the entrance of “the Little Crater.”
After our morning briefing, get ready to tackle the rugged cliffs of Nahal Tzin. It’s a day of rocky challenges, narrow passages, and heart-pounding excitement.
We’ll head to Israel’s largest crater, “Makhtesh Ramon,” and continue to Nahal Nekarot, the Desert Winter Stream. By now, you’ll be an off-road master, ready to soak in the pristine beauty of Nahal Paran, Israel’s largest stream. Our overnight parking spot? Among the stunning Paran Cliffs, where a festive evening awaits.
Morning briefing? Of course! Today, we dive into one of Israel’s wildlife-rich riverbeds, hoping to spot some ibex herds.
As we continue through Nahal Akev, expect advanced driving techniques and breathtaking views at “Har Berech Observation Point.” Entering the Eilat Mountain Nature Reserve, we’ll gradually descend to Eilat, with its vibrant flora painting the landscape.
Finally, our epic journey concludes in style at a luxurious 5-star hotel in Eilat.
After check-in, we will gather for a journey recap and some final surprises. We will bid farewell around 12:00, and each one of us will continue onwards.
We will be happy to assist in coordinating any additional night(s) at the hotel if you wish to extend your stay.
Please note that the route may change at the discretion of the journey leader due to various issues. weather conditions, terrain, technical problems, etc
